At Trip Culture, we want you to be completely satisfied with your bookings. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds are processed for various services booked through our platform. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.
1. General Refund Guidelines
All refund requests are subject to the specific terms and conditions of the service provider (hotels, airlines, tour operators, etc.) and the cancellation policy applicable at the time of booking.
Refunds are processed based on the cancellation timeline and the type of service booked. The amount refunded depends on when the cancellation is made relative to the travel date.
Trip Culture acts as an intermediary and facilitates refunds according to supplier policies. We do not control third-party refund terms but advocate on your behalf.
2. Refund Eligibility

- • Force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions)
- • Technical errors resulting in duplicate bookings

- • Medical emergencies with valid documentation
- • Downgrade of services by provider
✗ Non-Refundable Situations
- • No-show without prior cancellation

- • Personal reasons without valid documentation
3. Refund Timeline by Service Type
Tour Packages
30+ days before departure:90% refund
15-29 days before departure:50% refund
7-14 days before departure:25% refund
Less than 7 days:No refund
Hotel Bookings
48+ hours before check-in:Full refund

Flight Bookings
Flight refunds are governed by airline-specific policies. Refund amounts vary significantly based on:
- • Ticket type (refundable vs non-refundable)
- • Fare class and booking conditions
- • Time of cancellation relative to departure
- • Airline's terms and conditions
Note: Most economy tickets are non-refundable. We recommend purchasing refundable tickets or travel insurance for flexibility.

4. Refund Processing Time
Once your cancellation is approved, refunds are processed within 7-14 business days. The actual credit to your account may take an additional 5-7 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. How to Request a Refund
Step 1: Cancel Your Booking
Log in to your account and navigate to 'My Bookings'. Select the booking you wish to cancel and click 'Cancel Booking'.
Step 2: Submit Refund Request
Fill out the refund request form with your reason for cancellation and any supporting documents (if applicable).
Step 3: Wait for Approval
Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days and notify you of the approval status via email.
Step 4: Receive Refund
Once approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within the specified timeline.
6. Special Circumstances
🏥 Medical Emergencies
In case of medical emergencies, a full or partial refund may be granted upon submission of valid medical certificates from a registered healthcare provider. Documentation must be submitted within 48 hours of cancellation.
🌪️ Natural Disasters & Force Majeure
If your travel is affected by natural disasters, political unrest, or government-imposed restrictions, we will work with service providers to facilitate full refunds or alternative travel dates at no additional cost.
✈️ Flight Cancellations by Airlines
If your flight is cancelled by the airline, you are entitled to a full refund or rebooking as per airline policy. We will assist you in claiming your refund from the airline.
7. Service Fees & Deductions
The following deductions may apply to your refund amount:
- • Transaction Fees: Payment gateway charges (2-3% of booking amount) are non-refundable
- • Service Charges: Trip Culture service fee (if applicable) may be deducted
- • Supplier Fees: Third-party cancellation charges as per their policy
- • Currency Conversion: Exchange rate fluctuations may affect refund amount
8. Trip Culture Credits
As an alternative to monetary refunds, you may opt to receive Trip Culture Credits. Credits offer several advantages:
- • Instant Processing: Credits are added to your account immediately
- • Bonus Value: Receive 110% of your refund amount as credits
- • No Expiry: Credits never expire and can be used anytime
- • Flexible Usage: Apply to any future booking on Trip Culture
